libcurl3-gnutls software package provides easy-to-use client-side URL transfer library (GnuTLS flavour), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcurl3-gnutls
libcurl3-gnutls is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcurl3-gnutls package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcurl3-gnutls *
You will get with libcurl3-gnutls package name, version, architecture and description in a table
